Mission
The Door’s mission is to empower young people to reach their potential by providing comprehensive youth development services in a diverse and caring environment. While we pride ourselves on offering all of our services under one roof, The Door is also focused on impacting the lives of young people throughout the city – and the world – and, as such, has served as a model for other, similar organizations locally, nationally and internationally.
Follow Your Dollar
$10 a month would help cover the cost of on-site health care at The Door including primary care, dental, reproductive health care, and mental health services.

When unaccompanied immigrant children are represented by an attorney, 73% win their case, compared to a 15% success rate when forced to represent themselves. Legal services like this are among The Door's many programs for at-risk youth.
