About This Campaign

Since 2009, the Pocono Mountains Music Festival has brought world-class performers to the Poconos for two weekends of entertainment featuring a broad variety of musical genres. The Festival’s Performing Arts Camp Experience has given student artists the opportunity to work directly with performing arts industry professionals to enhance their skills or simply realize their personal potential.

All of this is possible thanks to the generous support of our donors whose contributions allow us to underwrite 100% of the tuition for student artists to attend Camp. You are the lifeblood of the Pocono Mountains Music Festival.

On average, our donors give $236 annually to support the Festival. Ticket sales cover only 18% of our operating expenses and we rely on your ongoing support. Some of the expenses your donation supports include:
--Cost to produce our performances
--Living expenses for our camp faculty and visiting artists,
--Free programs offered in partnership with our local libraries,
--Community theater performance nights.

Festival donors enjoy perks such as invitations to "insider" events, complimentary cocktails, and special mementos commemorating your Festival experience. The Pocono Mountains Music Festival is a tax-exempt organization under 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Your gift is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution to the extent allowed by law.

Thank you for your support of student artists in the Poconos and the Pocono Mountains Music Festival.

More About The Cause(s)

The mission of the Pocono Mountains Music Festival, together with its Performing Arts Camp Experience, is to engage worldclass talent from all musical genres to entertain, enrich and educate.

Now in its 14th season, the Pocono Mountains Music Festival was founded in 2009 by David S. Mazza, M.D. as the Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival to offer musical and educational programming as a unique cultural resource for northeast Pennsylvania.

The Festival and its Performing Arts Camp Experience were created through the vision and generosity of members of the Buck Hill and Skytop communities, as well as with the support of local corporate sponsors. Each year, we continue to build on that legacy and widen our outreach to the entire Pocono Mountains region. We take great pride in serving the youth of our community through the Camp which is taught by a faculty of renowned industry professionals.

The Festival's notable education and library programs offer student artists the opportunity to learn, study and perform with music and theater professionals. The Festival has enhanced its programming each season and we are pleased to showcase seasoned and up-and-coming performers in disciplines including cabaret, jazz, dance, classical music, pop, country and musical theater. Our Artistic Director, Scott Coulter has expanded our programming to include performances in the Spring and holiday seasons and to introduce partnerships with local community arts programs.
